Carol was very responsive with any questions we had. The place was huge and had fun stuff for the kids to do in the playroom. If it wasn't raining, the kids would have loved to explore more outside. The property is way out in the sticks which is nice if you are trying to get away. Beds were comfortable, house was fully stocked with linens and extra towels, pretty well stocked kitchen too. Had some trouble with the coffee pot but found a brand new one in the storage room and got that going. The pictures of the property are a little old, but it basically looks the same. Oh there is no hair dryer either, so make sure you bring one.

Carol’s place in Oakdale was a wonderful place to have a holiday family get together. It’s a huge place with plenty of entertainment - we really enjoyed the game room, with its arcade basketball, pool table, darts, and big TV. The home was beautifully furnished and well heated! Kitchen was large and well stocked with the basic essentials. The front and backyards were also well manicured; that along with the surrounding orchard and made for a very peaceful and scenic stay. We ran into a slight snafu with the game room electricity but Carol’s communication was great and she was proactive in reaching out to troubleshoot and the rest of the stay was perfect. I would highly recommend this place for any kind of family get together / getaway!
