Sunfish Cabin was built in the 1950's by my (owner of the camp) Grandfather. Before the property was a wilderness sports camp, it was a place for families to escape the city and vacation in a wilderness setting. Sunfish still has that old fashioned charm but has been maintained and cared for by our camp staff. Vacationing at a wilderness summer camp is a great way for families to unplug, play, and rest. The cabin may be simple, but the natural surroundings and starry skys are worth the trip Sunfish cabin is a simple, rustic cabin kept in minimalist form. Think of it as camping indoors. As you prepare to pack for camp, keep in mind that there is NO formal kitchen. You will need to bring foods to cook on the propane grill or firepit or microwave. There is no kitchen cookware. You will need to bring sleeping bags and pillows /towels. It may not be fancy but it is a cozy space to enjoy nature. Also be aware that this is a cabin in the woods, sometimes woodland creatures and insects try to find their way inside the cabin. We do our best to prevent this.
