Tbh I've never had to leave a review like this but I'd rather be honest for future visitors... - No internal kitchen facilities (and it rained from the minute we got there til the next morning). There is a fully open, weathered kitchen about 80 meters away from the house - Outdoor baths were rusty and had junk all around them - No soaps/shampoo etc provided in the shower so had to ask the main house to bring some over - Main house is about 200m away with people in it - once you step out the front door you are in full view of the house - Woke the next morning to absolutely no running water til 10.15am which when it finally trickled on, lasted only 10mins...zero hot water. Overall if you love super 'backyard' off the grid experiences this one may be for you but we didn't feel it was worth the $280 for one night for my husband's birthday:( The house is decorated cute and bed was comfy but just feel the house is missing some basics that all other airbnbs weve stayed at, have had.

I enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay at The Praire cabin. What a beautiful relaxing and peaceful place! , loved the outdoor bar and fire pit area and the fire baths (or though I didn’t use the bath, maybe next time!) The cabin was cozy and loved all the decor and nick nacks , I had a really restful sleep. My pup loved the big open space and being able to explore and run round. Fiona was a super kind and welcoming host. Or though not an issue for me it might pay to note that there is an another cottage on the property that may be occupied at the time (the cabin is still nice and private though) 🙂. Thanks for a lovely stay I will definately be back!

Fiona was lovely and welcoming! Beautiful place. Was the perfect getaway for us and our pup, who loved exploring the bush and grass area.

Incredibly relaxing and peaceful. Great place to get away from it all and unwind. The outdoor fire and baths are awesome - great place for couples, families or larger groups. Fiona was very friendly and helpful. Awesome place to stay
