We loved staying in Onaero and had a few lovely March swims. The house was like an old-school kiwi bach. The kids enjoyed the toys, and the blankets were handy. I'm sure the deck would be well-used on a summers day.

What an incredible place to stay - so beautiful and peaceful being right on the water! Amazing to be able to bring your pets as well.

Very typical kiwi style Bach. You will have everything you need here, including games and toys for the kids. We loved spending time as a family here. We were here in mid winter and hot water bottles and one large space heater were provided. Definitely sufficient if you’re used to NZ chill in the air. We found the house had a musty smell, so I would not recommend if you have allergies and stay during the months where you can’t keep the windows open. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place! It doesn’t get much more beautiful than this. :)

Being across the road from the beach is amazing! It also made our holiday complete by having our family dog with us, I appreciate being allowed to bring her.
