What can I say except this place exceeds expectations. Looks even better than the photos. Trish was so lovely and helpful. The beds are SO SO comfy. It’s got everything and more than you need with buckets of style. We had the best time and can’t wait to come back. We had never been to Kirkby Lonsdale before and it’s such a pretty and thriving place. Fantastic restaurants and pubs and perfectly placed to access the lakes very easily. The Devils Bridge is a must on a sunny day, as well as seeing Ruskins view- (it’s stunning) and literally just near the front door! We went to Windermere for a boat trip on one day and you simply must go to The Yew Tree barn near Cartmel for Sunday lunch(fabulous) also the National Trust Sizergh Castle is only 15mins away and well worth the visit. Thank you Trish for a fabulous weekend and wonderful place!

Beautiful cottage in the heart of Kirkby Lonsdale. The cottage was clean with the addition of beautiful individual decorative items adoring the cottage. A thoughtful basket of treats was left for us to enjoy. The bed was very comfortable and a dream to sleep on. Overall a lovely stay, we hope to be back soon

Fabulous weekend stay at this beautiful property in a beautiful location. It was a real home from home. The interior was immaculate, basket of goodies on arrival was a lovely touch and the property is literally around the corner from the main street so we were within walking distance from the shops, bars and restaurants and there are lovely local walks from the doorstep too.

Trisha's cottage is everything that is promised & more. It is beautiful, tastefully furnished and has everything you could need. The location is excellent and though not guaranteed we had no problem parking outside the cottage. Trisha also generously left lots of added extras including a lovely bottle of white wine. Thank you so much for everything Trisha

This was one of the nicest Airbnb’s I have stayed at. In the heart of old Kirby Lonsdale across from the Church - a beautiful old carriage house that has been tastefully modernised yet has the charming features like exposed beams and deep set windows. It’s extremely comfortable - 3 spacious bedrooms and an especially wonderful main bedroom with a large bath (the claw foot tub!!), and stocked with beautiful fragrant local products. The welcome basket had some local treats and fresh eggs - we felt really welcomed and lucky to have such a comfortable home from home. The location is perfect for exploring not just the Dales but the Howgill Fells and more. Wonderful for hiking or scenic drives. I would return in a heartbeat!!
