Absolutely beautiful cottage, with everything anyone needs. The cottage was spotless and had a beautiful garden that was so relaxing. Me and my children had the most amazing time. The guest book provided at the cottage gave us ideas and information on what we could do local in the area. A lovely walk suitable for children is only a few minutes drive from the cottage and we spent the day there. Upon arrival, my children and myself were treated to sweets and snacks, which my children loved. I highly recommend this cottage and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you for having us

We stayed for 2 nights to attend a nearby wedding. We left wishing we had a whole week to spend there. The cottage is exactly as described, beautifully furnished and so comfortable. Angela is a great hostess and we particularly appreciated her thoughtful touches - milk in the fridge, a delicious lemon drizzle cake and rose petal confetti to take to the wedding. We would 100% recommend it!

We had a wonderful few days exploring Hadrian's Wall, the coast at Craster and Newcastle from this quiet lovely clean cottage base in Acomb. Only a couple of minutes drive from Hexham with a local pub and super chip shop round the corner. Thoroughly recommended.

My family and I have had a wonderful few days in Northumberland. Angela was a fantastic host, great communication and everything we needed had been thought of! The cottage is beautiful, clean and homely. We all slept peacefully and enjoyed the fire in the evening, hopefully next time we visit it will be warm enough to sit in the gorgeous garden! Thank you again for such a relaxing stay, it was exactly what we needed! X
