Lovely place to stay, great location and had everything you could need or want from an Airbnb - no complaints! The parking is tight, we have a small car and it was tricky to park so perhaps a word of warning to those with larger cars!

We had a brilliant stay at Farrier’s Cottage. It’s a beautiful home and every detail seems to be thought of. Hotel beds, fully equipped kitchen, good Wi-Fi, dishwasher, the log fire etc. It felt like everything was quality. We are already looking to see when we can return as it was just what we needed after our daughter was born 8 weeks ago. Also the host arranged a travel cot for us with no hassle. 5 stars for the house, the location and the hosts.

We had a great weekend at Farriers cottage despite storm Babete! Hexham has a wide range of pubs and restaurants easily walkable from the cottage and access to the beautiful country side is easy even by public transport. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable, also really well equipped. The welcome pack was also great !
