Fantastic value with the private rooftop. For anyone wondering like we were, yes, you have the entire top floor to yourself. Great spot to enjoy the mellow vibe around Caloundra.

Good location with lovely view over Kings Beach. Comfortable unit. Easy to walk to surf club and beach, a little longer to Bullcock Street. Be aware there are a lot of stairs and no lift, we liked the exercise a few times a day but not everyone would enjoy this aspect. Also be aware that minimal extras eg only one toilet roll, no washing up cloth etc so will need to bring your own supplies. Overall I would recommend staying here.

Great location, short walk to the beach and cafes, just be aware that there is no lift in the building and a lot of stairs to go up with your suitcase. The rooftop balcony has a fabulous view and nice bbq area.

Great location and apartment - we loved the rooftop balcony and the easy walk down to the pool, beach, cafes etc. Lockup garage might be a bit tight for large cars and there’s a LOT of stairs to go up and down when coming and going from the apartment (no elevator). Don’t expect any essentials that will be needed to comply with the house rules - i.e. there’s no dishwashing liquid or dishwasher tablets and no spare bin liners (nor any spare toilet paper… and there’s a coffee machine but no pods to get you started). Tea towels , bath towels linen and plenty of extra pillows and blankets were available. Note the credit card per-authorization for the security deposit is not done through Airbnb. If you’re checking in on a weekend / outside of their business hours key collection is very easy but you won’t get their welcome pack unless you go to their office during opening hours - we didn’t collect it so I have no idea if it’s worth your time to go out if your way to get it as they didn’t mention what would be included. If you check out on a weekend expect to get a call demanding to know when you’re returning the keys even if you returned them already. The main detractor was that communication was very poor (no response to messages through the Airbnb app for a week and it took me contacting them via their FB page to get a response the day before our checkin date, plus the accusatory tone about the key return) and we were a bit unsure about the security deposit being asked for outside of the Airbnb platform (i.e. we had to give credit card details to the business managing this listing) but otherwise we didn’t have any issues and would definitely book again.

The draw card of the unit is definitely the large, private rooftop. The unit itself is clean and tidy with comfortable beds. It is well appointed with a good size, shaded pool area in the complex. Just a short walk to local cafes, restaurants and beaches, the property is in a lovely location.
