Wonderful hosts. Very accommodating and welcoming. Excellent location, very comfortable and clean. Pool was a perfect retreat for the hot days. Loved the breakfast served daily. Would glad return and highly recommend!

Super lovely and local, quiet and perfect for a weeklong stay. Breakfast with the other guests is a highlight—traditional, fresh Oaxacan food a the communal dining table. No AC but the fans and curtains kept the room cool enough for comfort. This is a gem of a place that reflects quintessential, family-run Oaxacan hospitality.

Well run small B and B. Good location, easy walking distance to nearly everything we wanted to see, including a tiny restaurant virtually next door, considered among the city's best. Friendly, capable staff. Communal breakfast -- one large table -- is a good opportunity to meet other guests. (For those preferring early morning solitude, a quiet cafe is just up the block.) Swimming pool, a rarity, was a welcome refuge from potent afternoon sun. All in all, an excellent stay.

We would definitely stay here again. Karla was very welcoming and helpful with our questions and needs. She accommodated our vegan diet by providing delicious and generous plant based breakfasts and plant milk for our coffee. Provided a very helpful map highlighting top things to do in the city as well as personalized suggestions. Location was ideal, a short walk to the main sights without being in the middle of it all. The house and room were attractive and comfortable, we especially enjoyed the relaxing and scenic views from our balcony and the rooftop, and being able to fix tea anytime.
