Mark and J’Anne have made such a beautiful and welcoming space for folks. We were in town for a medical procedure (my back!), and needed an honest and compassionate assessment of a space, so we’d know it was safe, accessible, and quiet. Mark and J’Anne not only answered all of these questions, but obviously really cared about us and our situation. The space was not only warm, inviting, and accessible to me, but also equipped with literally every single thing we might have needed if we didn’t want to (or couldn’t) leave the house. It was such a perfect spot to be, not just to recover but also to enjoy the beauty of Gilbert. I’m not exaggerating or kidding when I say it was as much like a vacation as a medical visit! And Mark and J’Anne are not kidding when they say they started this because they love people. It’s evident in every single part of the experience. So grateful we found them!

This is my FAVORITE Airbnb out there- it's gorgeous & has everything you'd need for a relaxing & comfortable stay. I always stay when I am visiting family in Phoenix & each time, it's worth every penny. Great neighborhood & the hosts are so friendly & easy to work with. Book it now- you will not regret it!

Mark and J’Anne were amazing hosts! The space was very private, even though it was connected to their actual home, we never once felt like we were “sharing”. It was spotless, and felt so clean and comfortable, and very well decorated throughout. The pool and back yard were so peaceful and was the perfect get-away from the city life. As pet lovers, the cats and dog dropping by for visits outside was a very welcome surprise, and made us feel right at home! Though nicely tucked in a neighborhood, the house was so close to many great restaurants and things to do, just a short Uber ride away. I would recommend Mark and J’Anne’s place to anyone visiting the Mesa/Gilbert Area, and I would love to stay here again some time! We cannot thank them enough for their amazing hospitality!

This was my third stay at the Desert Jewel. Every time is great. The hosts are sweet, accommodating and quick to respond. The place is so comfortable and perfect for a little getaway. Highly recommend!
