Brent’s place was just as described. First Brent is a great host, always letting us know if we needed anything and fast response to a question I had. So house is very spacious, pool is very relaxing, and neighborhood is very peaceful. Love the big tv in the living room had late night movie nights with the family. Kitchen is so spacious and clean and left with extra treats and plenty of coffee to drink in the mornings in that beautiful cafe breakfast table. Showers were excellent and plenty of towels, loved the shower in master bedroom, guest shower was also great. We took 2 vehicles and we loved that the drive way is huge and neighborhood was safe and quiet, could have left vehicles unlock and I would worry. Last the location is the best, practically any fast food restaurant is near by and other big restaurants, there is a mall close by, Walmart like 3 minutes, and me and my family love Pluckers and there is one 3 miles away! Overall this house is as described! We will be back!

Our stay at Brent's place was overall "fine" - not amazing but not horrible. In terms of positives: the beds and pillows were very comfortable, the snacks and drinks in the fridge were a nice touch, and Brent was quick to respond. In terms of negatives: cleanliness left something to be desired. Several of the washcloths and hand towels had quite a few stains. One of the bathroom hand soaps was basically empty (just the residual mixed with water), so we had to transfer some from the other bathroom. There was no kleenex, and almost not enough TP. Also, the backyard was a nice area, but with some issues. No outdoor swing as shown on the website. A bucket in the corner full of stagnant water. Some broken glass mixed in with the rocks near the pool. Dirty reclining chairs. The next-door neighbor also held a very loud party our first night there (Sat night) that lasted until sunrise, although admittedly this is outside of the hosts' control and the remaining nights were quiet.

Thank you Brent for hosting us for 3 days in this Vintage home. Brent is a great host and friendly with us on communications but unfortunately, the place needs some work. 1. The guest bathroom sink and tub had drainage issues.. always clogged.. we had to wait a long time for the water to drain. 2. The living room carpets and sofa are not clean. There are stains all over the carpet; it seems it's 15 years old. 3. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, one queen bed in Room 2, and a queen bunk bed in Room 3. The bunk bed top can only hold two kids and it can't hold an adult as it may break. So, the house can sleep only 6 adults and 2 kids max not 12 people for sure. There is no pullout sofa bed either. Overall, if these issues are fixed then it's a great home to stay. Nice kitchen with all the amenities.

This house was exactly as advertised. It definitely leans vintage, but not cluttered or an uncomfortable vibe. Very homey, like visiting grandparents. If you are traveling with dogs, this place is perfect! My dogs loved this place and I’m very appreciative of the layout, flexibility, and accommodation that included my entire family. I stayed four days and found this home to be pleasant and a great value! Staying in the Texas vintage may be a throwback, but you will be comfortable, and happy that you picked this property, no disappointments here!
