We loved the cottage during our stay. It was cosy and peaceful. The swimming pool was the reason we chose this property and we were not disappointed. Would happily stay again.

what a little gem! loved this little place and such a great pool that we had to ourselves. Emma the host was helpful if we had any questions. such a relaxing break would definitely return here.

A great place from which to explore. Emma and Jonathon are very responsive and friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. My girls loved the pool so much and there is an easy booking system . A beautiful part of the country with loads to do. The accomodation is cute, comfortable and quirky. Loved staying here.

I am an award-winning children's author and mother to 4 children, aged 7 to 13. We live in the Yorkshire Dales most of the time, which is where the Gardener's House is, but we love getting away to the coast and it remains the focal point for much of my writing inspiration. We love the North Yorkshire coastline and spend as much time there as we can. We've recently expanded our properties to include a property in Whitby - The Old Jet Works, which is also to let. It's nice and spacious, very central, and of course has the all-important nosy seat in the window :)
