The location was good on the corner of the Market Square. You could park right outside the door or in the square. There is a small yard to the rear but isn't secure for small dogs and is paved. The house was very comfortable and we had no issues with hot water or heating and there is a gas fire for cold evenings. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms looked newly updated, spotlessly clean and great showers. Lots of towels. Kitchen equipment was adequate for a 2 night stay for 3 of us. The only things that I think could have been improved were: it would have been nice to have a welcome basket as we had to go out in the dark and wet to find milk as soon as we arrived for a cup of tea after a very long journey and having some in the fridge would have been nice. Most AirBNB's provide this and some local treats. There were no bowls for dog water etc. There was only 1 dishwasher tablet for a 2 night stay! ( I think these cheap fixes are do-able).

Great location in a very beautiful part of the world. Good accommodation and everything we needed for a family get together. Some fabulous local walks, amazing pubs, nice market on Saturdays, some great shops, and a very enjoyable visit to The Black Sheep Brewery. EV charging on the square.

A fantastic place. Great location yet peaceful inside. Lovely living space, great cosy gas fire for chilly nights. Lovely rooms, bathrooms and lining spaces. Well kitted out kitchen. A great base to explore North Yorkshire. All amenities exactly as advertised. Would happily go back- family loved our holiday here. Thank you

The space that the cottage had was brilliant. There were two families staying and having enough bedrooms and bathrooms for adults and teenagers was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed. We decided to park in the market place for the whole of the stay and had no issues with finding a space. The location of the cottage was good too for walking to the local tourist hot spots as well as pubs and eateries. We all had a lovely few days away.

Incredible place to stay right in the heart of Masham! Really hard to find such a great place to stay that’s dog friendly. The house was beautiful, facilities were great and location could not have been better. William and Anne-Marie were both really helpful offering recommendations and information on the local area. Also letting us know we were able to check in early which we were grateful for.
