Welcome to our new venture BRAND NEW FOR 2024. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable country escape. Our shepherds hut is situated next to our family farm. Kick off your boots and get ready to chill by the fire. Or even indulge with a dip in your own private wood fired hot tub. The hut has all the amenities you need including a wood fired pizza oven. A village pub and shops just a short drive away. Find us on social media for more updates. @oldparkhousefarm Within the shepherds hut there is a double bed with bed linen provided. A tv, portable radio with a bluetooth speaker, fully equipped kitchen area with a sink, fresh running water (drinkable), electric hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, utensils, and crockery. Also within is a wood burning stove and electric heater. Within the bathroom is a walk in shower, toilet and sink, towels and bathrobes are provided. Outside you’ll find a wood fired hot tub, fire pit/BBQ, wood fired pizza oven and seating. Wood, kindling and firelighters are provided, but more can be purchased on request, as well as charcoal. Please be aware the hut is situated on a working farm with livestock. So there will be chances of animal noises and smells. But it is beautiful and tranquil here with starry skies and singing birds, with a fresh water stream flowing through the paddock.

Perfect hideaway for a relaxing stay in the countryside, it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into every detail of the hut so it is well-equipped and looks lovely. The hot tub and pizza oven made our stay! We found our host easy to get hold of, friendly and happy to explain how things worked when we arrived. The location was easy to find, private and very peaceful. We’d love to stay again!
We had a lovely stay in The Hare Hut. The hut was immaculate, and done out so beautifully. We used the hot tub and pizza oven while taking in the surroundings. Lauren was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll be back! 😊
This shepherds hut was perfect for a weekend getaway. The hut itself was spotless on arrival and had everything you could need inside. The pizza oven and hot tub was easy to use and was perfect. Thomas was really helpful, showed us how to use the hot tub, fire pit etc and was very quick to respond to any questions we had, we was also provided a bottle of Prosecco which was a nice touch. The location is great also. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
From start to finish, the hosts were very helpful, always communicative and not a stone was left unturned. The hare hut was absolutely immaculate, very stylish , and plenty of room inside. The surroundings are stunning, a beautiful little track and own parking space directly to the hut itself. The log fired hot tub was fired up, and ready upon arrival, as was a lovely gesture of balloons and Prosecco as it was my partners birthday. The standard of this place is second to none and you really will not be dissapointed. Upon arrival Lauren met us, was very friendly, and was busy feeding the pet lambs in the adjacent field which was really lovely, and the little lambs, and the beautiful sounds of wildlife around made a very relaxing retreat whilst relaxing in the hot tub. There was more than enough wood in the wood store , for the tub itself and also the log fired pizza oven, and I can honestly say we wanted for nothing. It was wonderful. Great place for a weekend away! The hut was very clean and well laid out with everything you could need! Hot tub and pizza oven are great additions! Lovely place, would definitely visit again!
