A Yorkshire Dales Gem: Cosy Comfort and Perfect Location We recently enjoyed a fantastic family break at this charming property on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage was absolutely delightful, greeted by a feeling of warmth and comfort with a truly cosy atmosphere. The accommodation is well-suited for families and had everything we needed to feel right at home, perfect for unwinding after exploring the stunning scenery and daily adventures. We were equally impressed with the location. The cottage offered easy access to all the wonderful sights and attractions of the Yorkshire Dales. We were within driving distance of breathtaking hikes, charming villages, and historical landmarks. This made it the perfect base for exploring the beauty of the region. Overall, our stay at this lovely property was exceptional. It provided the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and a fantastic location. We would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable family getaway.

The cottage is beautifully finished to a high standard and very clean. It was perfect for 5 adults 2 dogs and 1 child. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Such a cosy wholesome place and the local town is within walking distance but this is on a main road. There is a pub across from the cottage but it’s very local with limited beers, the pubs in Leyburn however are lovely. Locals are very friendly. Kitchen is very well equipped however it would be helpful to have a very basic pantry of olive oil and spices as we forgot to buy oil but that’s really picking as the welcome hamper was appreciated. The only thing that did disappoint was that we were unable to have a bath as the water was not hot enough. We tried on a few occasions but this was the only negative to the holiday. Thank you again for a lovely new years stay.

We had a lovely new year break in Theaked Stone cottage. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy and comfortable and perfect for our family. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well stocked. The welcome hamper was very much appreciated after a long drive. Would not hesitate to reccomend and hopefully we will stay again. Good communication and check in from host.
