We had a wonderful stay at Casa Mulata and would be happy to stay there again. The house has a unique layout and we loved the style. The terrace was also a great place to hang out in the evening. It’s extremely close to everything and couldn’t be in a better location. Yoya is also an extraordinary host. She was extremely communicative and gave us wonderful recommendations for food, things to do, and transportation.

To say that we enjoyed our stay at Yoya’s place would be an understatement. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more comfortable, conveniently located place to spend our last few days in Oaxaca. We loved how beautifully designed and decorated it was. From the bathrooms and bedrooms to the oasis-like patio with a soaking tub, twinkly lights, and beautiful succulents, this home is truly a gem. Yoya was incredibly welcoming and met us at the Airbnb to orient us to the space and answer any questions we had. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone visiting Oaxaca.

Our family of three (2 adults, and 1 eight-year-old) enjoyed Yoya's place from start to finish. The location is great for exploring Oaxaca City as you find yourself in the center of the City with many sights, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and coffee shops. The patio overlooking Calle de la Constitucion is a perfect place for coffee in the morning and a great respite as the day winds down. Only blocks away you fill find the Templo De Santo Domingo and other markets and art galleries are nearby and an easy walk. Yoya was an exceptional hostess, being open to communication and responsive to needs, and we really appreciated her help in coordinating tours and experiences. And, Casa Mulatta was a dream home with thoughtful touches and unique design. Fans, shutters on windows, and a/c all added to our comfort. We won't soon forget it, and we look forward to staying if ever we find ourselves in Oaxaca City again!

This is our second stay. The place is well located, thoughtfully decorated, and very comfortable. Linens and towels were good quality, nice water pressure and great hot water, and bottled water was provided at part of the stay, which is a thoughtful perk. Yoya met us at the door for check in day and was on-time and friendly as always. She was also flexible at the end allowing us for an extra hour before checkout. We would certainly stay again and recommend this Airbnb to our friends.

This listing is one of the few that actually exceeds all expectations and the pictures posted. It is absolutely stunning. Yoya was also the perfect host, kind, communicative and very responsive. Highly recommended.
