great place, everything was impeccable. they let us park the car a few hours before check in, and also a few hours after check out - were very grateful for that. the only issue we had was with hot water... there wasn't any. they did try to fix it although it was late in the evening, and did keep us posted on progress, or lack thereof. but it was not possible. we were told this had to do with the rain (storm?) that took place in the afternoon. other than this "little" issue, everything went very well.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Ljubljana. Die Wohnung hat eine wirklich gute, zentrale Lage. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Besichtigung des nahe gelgenen Wohnhauses und Museums des Architekten Plečnik.

We were travelling to Croatia and stayed for one night. The apartment is very close to the city center, very modern and very clean. The bed was super comfy. The free (and safe) parking was great too! The apartment is in the basement, so natural light is a bit limited, but we didnt care, since we just stayed the night.

The Vila Emona is located in a peaceful suburb, but all major city attractions as well as Ljubljanica river are at your door step. You have only 10 meters to the nearest bus station, 500 meters to the center, 5 minuts walk to the Old City and 20 minutes walk to the green Tivoli Park. In the direct neighborhood you have a green park with a playground by the river Gradaščica. It is very pleasant place to be in the summer.
The Old Town is Ljubljana's medieval area between the river and the castle. The Old Town is just around the corner with many good restaurants with delicious food. You can have a pleasant walk to the famous Three Bridge Square and the Open market or you simply walk to the castle and enjoy the view.
A lot of Ljubljana's cultural day and night activities happen around the city centre, particularly the area around Preseren Square. Apart from bars and restaurants, you will also find lots of museums and art galleries in Ljubljana's city center.
