Hello, Welcome to Wonder Honesdale and the Meagher Family Farmhouse! I love Honesdale, Pleasant Mount and all of the Northern Pocono Mountains of Northeast Pennsylvania! I was born and raised here and am a proud graduate of Honesdale High School ’95 and Penn State University '99. As a full time, real estate broker/owner of RE/MAX Wayne in Honesdale and RE/MAX Best in Lake Ariel, I love welcoming people to our awesome area and helping them find their dream homes and property. In 2019 with the amazing construction/design talents of my good friend Samuelle Green (and family) and the help from Rob Grimm Construction Company, we created Wonder Honesdale. Named for one of Honesdale’s claims to fame, "Winter Wonderland" was written by native Dick Smith in Honesdale at central park. While enjoying your stay please enjoy the incredible Restaurant, Native Honesdale on the first floor and the awesome Be Kind Bake House for a morning coffee and amazing baked goods! In 2022 I helped restore the Family Farmhouse just 20 minutes north of Honesdale in Pleasant Mount, PA which is only 9 miles from Elk Mtn Ski Resort and surrounds the state owned 172 Acre Belmont Lake. This 300 acre farm has been in our family since the 1840’s and is now in our 7th generation of ownership. The 1920’s farmhouse was completely restored and is now able to be enjoyed by others who would like to enjoy million-dollar mountain and lake views and all that our beautiful countryside has to offer. Close to Elk Mtn. for winter skiing, and surrounding Belmont Lake for kayaking, fishing, canoeing and all water activities! Enjoy miles of hiking and biking trails and the pristine country setting on the back deck in the outdoor hot tub! Welcome to Northeast Pennsylvania!
