we had an amazing time in the snow. The way the snow surrounded the cabin was amazing. Absolutely no complaints.

Great place to stay, enjoyed it very much with no issues at all! I recommend going during the winter with lots of snow!

BRING YOUR OWN WOOD??! the very first line describing this location is snuggle up to the efficient wood stove. we very much wanted to do this! but found only three small branches of wood in the wood pile. after some back and forth vacasa recommended we drive 12 miles to a source of cut wood. it was 7:00 p.m. and the worst storm in California in 20 years. we paid twice what we normally pay for a vacation rental and that's the best they could do. I was really angered by this. if there's toilets, there should be toilet paper, if there's electrical sockets, there should be electricity. nowhere in the description does it say we needed nowhere in the description does it say we needed to bring our own wood even though representative said it was part of their policy. also disappointing was the fact we missed the first of our two nights because of not only Interstate closures but local highway closures due to intense storms. we asked the representative if some refund could be made but no help
