I was in NYC for work and Ida's place was exactly as the pictures depicted. I stayed for a month from early December to early January. Easy to check in with an elevator to the 4th floor was perfect for toting luggage. There are personnel manning the lobby from 9 pm to 2 am so I felt very safe. The furnishings and appliances were top notch with a huge TV to relax after work...and Ida's bed was amazingly comfortable. The apartment was super quiet, I hardly could tell there were neighbors. The neighborhood is fun; so much to do and it was a great experience. I walked to church, walked from a Meetup social event, and many events were going on in the area, especially at Central Park which is in walking distance. Ida was very responsive and caring of her guests' experience. Great find for working in or visiting NYC.

La estancia en el hogar de Ida fue muy agradable. Está relativamente lejos del centro de Manhattan por lo que habrá que contemplar aproximadamente 30 min de recorrido para llegar a los puntos más importantes de NY. El departamento nos permitió comprar comida en los mercados que están a una cuadra que nos facilitó los desayunos y algunas cenas. Ida tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar. Procuramos llegar antes de las 11 de la noche al departamento pero en alguna ocasión llegamos a las 12 de la noche y todo bien. Recomendamos caminar por la calle 124 y posteriormente por la calle 3 que están lo suficientemente iluminadas. Ida nos dio instrucciones muy claras sobre como llegar y donde encontrar los objetos que llegáramos a necesitar.

Ida’s place is lovely and exactly as pictured. Everything that we needed was there. We didn’t have a need to contact her much during our stay but the one time we did she was very responsive. She sent us a nice message when we checked out. I would stay there again.

Ida was very responsive which I found very helpful. She also let me check out late (which I appreciated) due to my awkward flight time.

A nice place to stay in Harlem, close to the subway station (125 st).
