We enjoyed our stay at Ben's very much. It's very quiet and secluded. The beds were very comfortable. The scenery was magnificent! Loved the jukebox. We went for my birthday and it was the perfect place for a family gathering.

We stayed here to enjoy the Joshua Tree area and loved it. The secluded location is perfect to relax, enjoy nature, and stargaze, while still having quick access to the town and park. Ben was very responsive to any questions we had.

Overall the place had a nice vibe. The jukebox was very cool. However, the pool not being heated and no TV really put a damper on our stay. Our kids were on spring break and after 3 days there wasn’t much left to do so we packed up and went home early. Noting that while over all the place was tidy the floor wasn’t very clean and there was dust under the beds which had us sneezing a lot during our stay. Lastly the food in the area was not great.

We really enjoyed our stay. This is the perfect location to do Joshua Tree National Park and still be close enough to Palm Springs to get to do city things too. The interior is beautiful just like the pictures. It comes fully loaded with kitchen essentials towels and clean sheets. There is also a high chair and airbed tucked in one of the closets, making it family friendly. Ben was very responsive to questions. Of course Ben can’t control the weather and it was a bummer for us how windy and cold it ended up being for part of our trip (late March), which meant we couldn’t take full advantage of the gorgeous pool area, but that will be for another trip. There’s no TV (which is kinda a bonus when traveling with kids) but if there is a risk of being trapped indoors you might want to bring some entertainment (we planned ahead with a portable movie projector for a family movie night). The juke box was a nice touch and had enough variety in genres and generations to be fun for everyone
