Beautifully restored farmhouse cottage, with generous sized rooms, all with exposed, original timber beams and set in 1 acre of gardens Our cottage is ideally located for the historic Roman City of Chester, Chester Races, Chester Zoo, McArthur Glenn Designer Outlet Village, Cheshire Oaks, North Wales, The beautiful Wirral Peninsula beaches, Ness Gardens, Capenhurst RSPB Burton The 563 National Cycle Path is across the road and we have many footpaths within minutes of our property. Beautifully decorated and furnished farmhouse cottage, with exposed original wood beams throughout all rooms. King-sized bed, TV, modern ensuite shower room, hairdryer Comfortable, spacious lounge with feature fireplace, sofa, bed settee, TV, WiFi. We were met by Jayne who was very welcoming and showed us into the cottage which was immaculate inside and had every possible amenity and piece of equipment we could want to make us feel at home, including a generous welcome basket left for us on the kitchen table. We only have positive comments about the hosts and the cottage and will have no hesitation returning in the future, a truly comfortable and relaxing four night stay, home from home !!
10/10 in all areas, they are the best hosts you could ask for!

Our traditional farm house cottage is a very cosy & comfortable retreat for a couple and we also allow up to 1 pet.
The upstairs bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed, with en-suite shower room.
The lounge is a good size, with a feature fire place and two sofa's, one of which is a sofa bed, which could accommodate two children or another adult.
The kitchen diner, has all the mod cons you will require, including a ceramic hob & dishwasher
There is a bus stop 2 mins walk from the cottage
There are plenty of cycle paths, many of which have been ridden by Chris Boardman
Lots of local public footpaths through the local countryside
Train service to Chester, Liverpool and Wirral, from Capenhurst.
National, inter-city train services available at Chester and Liverpool, Lime Street train stations
King Cabs or Abbey taxi services
River Dee and canal cruises at Chester
Hiking to your hearts content in North Wales.
Lots of places for wild swimming around the Wirral coastline.
