Robin's place is a brilliant place to stay. It's set in the most beautiful location and there a lot to do locally. Robin 's check in instructions and details about local activities took all the hard work away from planning walks. We could just grab the walk details and head out of the door, plus there are so many local trails. The place is also very conveniently located for pubs - The Bush and The Boat Inn. Both are child and all round friendly. We had great food and they are both walkable. The view from the Boat Inn is amazing. Robin's place is also spotless with lovely decor and plenty of books and records to keep you occupied if you want to relax for a while. The games room was also handy for our 3 year old and the patio doors work really well with the outside space. The communication with Robin was excellent. He always responded very quickly and is a very welcoming and friendly person which always adds to any stay. We'd love to come back sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay at lone stables. We are a family of four and the accommodation suited us perfectly with one child using the sofa bed in the living room. The shower was great. The kitchen had everything you need. The lounge and dinning area was a really welcoming space to relax in the evening after a days walking. Games room with table tennis is good fun (and next door if you want some quiet time while others play). A beautiful area with walks on your doorstep or a short car journey away.

We had a lovely family Easter break at the Stables. The location was easy to get to. The views on the drive up were stunning. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. Lots of lovely walking routes. We went to puzzlewood on the Saturday which was absolutely gorgeous. It was very muddy but we all had a fabulous day. The Stables were clean and well presented. Robin was a very responsive host. We would love to come back again.

Robin is a very proactive host, sending information in advance about check-in / out, facilities, the local area & was happy to recommend places to eat depending on what it was we were after. When we arrived we found a pack with loads of walks and local information printed and kept for us which was super handy. The one thing we didn’t have with us was a small milk - but thankfully that was taken care of by Robin already :) (same with some yummy biscuits). His space is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean & is very well equipped! The bed is SO comfortable, we slept very soundly. There is good storage to unpack into, especially in the kitchen. The water pressure is EXCELLENT, which lead to my other half having incredibly long showers ! We also had an excellent evening at the local pub The Bush (it was important to us to have a pub in walking distance). They were super! Lisa made our visit so special, Billy the owner is great to chat to and the locals are incredibly friendly.

Beautiful home in the beautiful Wye Valley, my friends and I hope to come back to stay again later in the year!
