Great stay! Quirky and fun place to stay. We are a family who were visiting friends in the area and our stay at Kevin's perfectly fit our needs. The rooms were immaculately clean and everything was exactly as described. The sauna was a great plus and a perfect way to wind down in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped and Kevin had provided a wonderful welcome basket.

We are over the moon to have been Kevin’s first guests! His place is quirky, spacious and well kitted out. From the moment you pull up your interest is piqued and every room you move into has something funky and cool to investigate. From thrones to neat artwork on the cups and played which Kevin has made himself in his downstairs studio! Kevin gave us secure space for our bikes and even allowed our (over excited) daughter play with his dog, Tinker and was always on hand to answer questions and point us in the right direction. As for the house itself, the kitchen is well stocked even down to a cheese grater and measuring jug - plus sharp knives which is a big bear of mine in many airbnbs! The dining area is vast as is the living room, the stairs are beautiful but young kids will need supervision. Both bedrooms are spacious and have good storage and lovely finishing touches that will make you smile and feel at home. Even things like mirrors and bins on each room has been considered - which is very cool. There is a sauna upstairs but we didn’t use it so cannot comment personally on this, it looks and smells amazing though! We didn’t have the time or energy to experience the outside terrace but had it been a warmer evening we can see it will be a lovely space to chill out. In terms of location it cannot be better, it’s two minutes walk from the high street with at least two supermarkets and restaurants in throwing distance oh and you’re opposite the police station for extra security! 🤣 You can park outside for an hour during the day and 50 yards up the road for as long as you like, there is also an allocated space round the back but we didn’t need it. All in all, it’s one of our new favourite places and we will definitely be back! Thank you for everything kevin and we wish you the world of luck with Reckless house, but don’t get so busy you can’t have us back! Love, Jeni, mark and Maggie x
