We are a 5 minute walk to Mouldsworth train station from there you can get to Chester, Manchester or explore the villages and towns on route. We are in an ideal place for Nature Lovers who want to explore, with load of walks within the local area and only 1 mile from Delamere Forest. The lack of light pollution means you have wonderful star gazing opportunities right outside your Bell tent. Adrenalin junkies can quest their thirst with loads of high action adventure go ape, segway, hoovercraft, dust karting and quad biking only 15 mins away. Shoppers will be delighted with a visit to the famous Cheshire Oaks designer shopping outlet or a trip into historic Chester a few miles away. Chester Zoo goes without saying is an amazing day out and the recent addition of the Islands are definitely worth a visit. Chester is a haven for great places to eat and drink, you could take a leisurely boat trip down the river Dee, visit the outdoor theatre performances that take place throughout the summer, or if you fancy a flutter Chester races may be for you. Our nearest and dearest "The Goshawk" is a charming village pub, only 4 mins walk away. Its a former 19th century coaching inn so has loads of character. The outdoor areas have been recently renovated and its the perfect place to sit and chill with a cold drink. They serve food from 12 - till 9pm, have a daily specials board. Our favourite meal is probably fish, chips & peas, washed down with a locally brewed beer. A short drive away takes you to the Morris Dancer in Kelsall great for relaxing drinks alfresco and delicious food , or in the opposite direction still only 5 minutes drive away you have the White Lion in Alvanley. Chesterfields and the Fishpool inn are both about 15 minuets drive and we can highly recommend the food in both restaurants. Being in the countryside there are lots of choices for country pubs serving meals, you will be spoilt for choice. Chester is full of amazing restaurants, cafes and bars and being 1 stop away on the train the perfect opportunity to have a great night out whilst leaving the car behind.

You can be in Chester in 10 mins, or visit the many villages around here. We are on the Manchester Piccadilly line if you want to venture further afield. This is a rural location there are no busses , taxis should be researched and booked in advance.
