This was a perfect little stay for our short break in Cheshire with our toddler. The location was great as it’s close to Chester but rural enough to have some peace and quiet away from the city. A quaint little cottage with plenty of character.

We have just returned from a weekend stay at pilgrim cottage and have to say we were very impressed by the cleanliness and decor of the cottage, it felt like a home from home and was spotlessly clean throughout. The hot tub was a fantastic addition and allowed us to relax and unwind! We were also left a complimentary bottle of wine and biscuits which was also a nice addition. The cottage was well equipped with all that we needed, we had a little trouble working the induction oven hob, but soon realised that this was due to us using the wrong pan. The cottage is in a great location, so peaceful and quiet, but also a short drive away from Chester. Sam has been a great host and has been very informative throughout, there was a welcome pack on arrival which gave instructions on how to heat the hot tub, which came in very handy for us as neither of us had lit a fire before. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would love to visit again. Would highly recommend.

Lovely cottage hot tub was great. Lots of instructions from host. Comfy beds and lovely location.

We had a lovely stay at Pilgrim Cottage - perfect location for walks, pubs and Delamere Forest. Sam was very responsive and the cottage was exactly as described. The hot tub was great too. Would definitely recommended to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you!
