really enjoyed our stay. the place was very clean and had everything you needed for your stay. it was a lovely place and done to a very high standard. the communication was great if we needed anything. would definitely return.
Perfect little get away for our family & dog! The arcade game & pool table was a big hit with our teen! House was clean, and so comfortable. Will definitely stay again. Thank you xox
Amazing place to stay! Not much more you could ask for, everything worked, was clean and tidy and they were very easy to get hold of and adaptable to make our stay super comfortable. Could not have asked for more. the team were amazing, responded to all enquiries and even made some amazing recommendations for where to spend your days. Peaceful and private too. Definetly would recommend for a great get-away. 😁😁
The property we stayed in was very spacious, and clean with modern furniture. Our children especially loved the pool table and arcade gaming machine which kept them entertained for hours or just chilling watching TV on the massive beanbag or sofa. The owner/host was super friendly and very accommodating. On our last day at the property, there was some works being carried out in the next property to us which made a little bit of noise in the morning (it was for 2 hours if that), but it wasn't too bad (I'm pretty sure, my children were noisier), but the host was so apologetic and came round and brought us some chocolates and a bottle of wine and some sweeties for the kids to apologise. 53 Degrees property were also helpful and quick to repond if you have any queries. Overall, we have had a lovely and relaxing stay and will definitely be returning if we are anywhere near Chester. We highly recommend Castle View Rural Retreats.

Just a 2-minute walk from the property and you are on the public footpath that leads to a local pub called the Shady Oak, Beeston Castle or Peckforton Castle.
When travelling to and from the Cottage, it is easiest to drive if you are looking to explore nearby towns and cities. If you are looking to explore the local scenery, we recommend going on foot for the best experience.
