Gorgeous Home on a large lot, this is a QUIET oasis close to everything! You will enjoy a lovely backyard and second story deck overlooking the golf club. Located on a quiet dead-end street a 1/2 mile walk to the train, right by I-355 and I-88, and close to downtown. Make use of the large kitchen, dining room, living room, rec room, Comfortable bedrooms with large closets, Large yard, Garden area and more! Sam was a great host. Very communicative and responsive. His place was perfect for our family gathering for my son’s wedding. Very well equipped kitchen. Comfortable space with plenty of room.
Just spent 10 nights in gorgeous Downers Grove. The house was perfect for us (4 adults and a toddler) plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. There is a playground about 200m away in the local elementary school grounds which you can use after 3.15pm. There was no washing detergent or dishwasher tablets but Sam had some delivered the very next day. They only thing I would mention is it definitely needs a deep clean. There was lots of dusty corners around the house, cobwebs and dead bugs around the living area but easy to get rid of with vacuum Two of the bedrooms had a stale smell also. A diffuser or air freshener wouldn’t go a miss! Other than that we had no other issues and were happy with our stay. Thank you Sam!

Sam’s home was absolutely great! We’ve stayed in around 40 airbnbs and this home has been a highlight. The house is so spacious, the beds are all comfortable with plenty of pillows and great linens. The kitchen is magnificent. Great appliances, so much room, and a great wooden dining table. The main living room is large but not too much, the couches quite comfortable. The bedrooms are all roomy, the master bedroom is very large and has an amazing workstation including a great monitor and an adjustable standing desk. There is a rec room that can have a fifth bed (4 queens and a king!), as well as a third desk (the second one is in a regular bedroom) and a very popular foosball table. I enjoyed sitting out front on the front porch and up on the deck overlooking the beautiful view across the street of fields and trees. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, but it’s also just blocks from Ogden, 88, and 355. An amazing location with lots of good walks right from the front door.

I grew up all over the world, and my wife and I still travel on occasion. A new person to meet at a new place to visit is always a pleasure. I am an architect and investor, with woodworking and specialty coffee as my skilled hobbies. The only thing better than the eclectic and exciting things I do and people I know, is my gorgeous and fun-filled wife Christen. Some of our favorite activities involve traveling to different airbnbs ourselves as we visit our family members around the world. We bring what we look for when we travel, to our spaces: those small things like good coffees and teas, simple good design, cleanliness, a responsive host and the freedom of self check-in. As an architect and airbnb host, the "why" is a pursuit and love of that which sustains your living and ours.
