Villa casa Tomise was built in 2013, constructed in the Andalucian style of architecture but with a modern twist encompassing large panoramic windows and high ceilings providing bright spacious living accommodation. The land extends down to the shore-line 100 metres below, and the only sounds you can hear are those of the waves, birds and the cicadas of an evening – an unbeatable location in which to relax and unwind. The views are phenomenal: the Mediterranean Sea, the city of Salobreña with the mountains as a backdrop and a vast coastline. The large ground floor rooms open onto the terrace and overlook the hydromassage pool and the vast blue Mediterranean Sea. There is a large open plan living area with a sunken arched lounge that can accommodate two large sofas, a leather armchair, a fireplace and a flat screen TV with international channels. The dining room seats up to 8 people, has a sideboard brimming with games and a well-stocked bookcase. The exceptionally well-equipped kitchen has a centrally located island unit with additional sink and wood-covered breakfast bar. The worktops are all granite and the units are made of painted oak. There is a large fridge, 4-burner gas hob, electric oven and dishwasher. At the rear of the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine, microwave, two freezers and there is also a toilet. The bedrooms are all on the first floor. Three of the four bedrooms are south-facing and have unobstructed views of the sea. The fourth bedroom overlooks the small 'zen' courtyard. All bedrooms have balconies and are air-conditioned (fans are also provided for those who prefer not to use the A/C and sleep with an open window so you can enjoy the sound of the sea). Two of the bedrooms have king size beds with en-suite shower rooms (the master suite has a massage shower); there is a further standard double and a twin room and a family bathroom with a double sink. On the top floor is a large roof terrace with an extra fridge. Outside there are several alcoves with tables for eating - including a beautifully curved covered dining area. To the side of the house is a small 'zen' garden with fountain - a lovely peaceful hideaway when pool life gets too hectic! On the pool terrace there is a large pergola providing much needed shade from the midday sun and a comfortable corner unit. There is a gas BBQ on this level along with sunbeds and other chairs. The infinity pool is salt water (much gentler on the skin, hair and eyes), with underwater lighting and a separate part of the pool with hydro massage and seating for 8. There is also an outdoor shower.
