The house was cozy and well appointed for our family of three, and we loved exploring the property around the house. My son loved the little pond and the stream. Beautiful daylight in the house all day. One thing to note: The second bedroom was great for an 8yo child, but I wouldn't plan on having an adult stay on the foldout.

Extremely clean, cozy locale that came as advertised. Also really appreciated how full the kitchen was with spices + equipment. Would love to come back.

We loved our time in this bright, airy, and peaceful retreat. The house is generously stocked and furnished, comfortable to lounge about in, and all that we expected from the listing. Communication was prompt and efficient, and we felt very well cared for without ever crossing paths. Visiting over a wintry weekend, we didn't really see the surrounding acreage at peak, but we still enjoyed wandering about, crossing streams and walking along the shore of the small lake. The location is remote enough to feel out-of-the-way, but easy to find and a comfortable jaunt to places like Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Tivoli, Pine Plains, and Hudson. Very worthwhile.

We had a wonderful stay at SM & Etty's cabin. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful, the house was immaculately clean and well appointed--seriously, they have thought of everything you might need. Communication was friendly, responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Hudson Valley. One note: there are two other houses relatively close to the cabin so it is not completely private, but it was very easy to close the curtains and tune out the world!

Great hosts and great place to stay! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway. Would absolutely stay here again.
