Quiet affordable cottage in excellent condition and the host is responsive and helpful. We found the location too remote, even with the complimentary car. Walk to Jabberwock beach is minimum 10 minutes on very busy roads with no shoulder and the water there is quite choppy but beach is very quiet. Dickenson Bay beach is the best, about a 15 minute drive. Most nearby restaurants are closed much of the week or only open until 4, and there are none within walking distance except the very pricey Le Bistrot. Highly recommend Dawne’s Soleil Kafé. If you want a remote, quiet spot for a reasonable price this is a good option.

A beautiful place to stay to go on adventures. Clean, extremely nice people. This is definitely a place my husband and I will return too. It was definitely hard for us to want to return home from vacation. thank you do much Simone we had a fabulous time.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Simone. Tout était parfait. Simone est une hôte extraordinaire qui pense à tout et qui est très réactive aux demandes de ses invités. La voiture était un gros atout pour se déplacer sur l’île et explorer les environs. Son guide d’hôte nous a beaucoup aidé et nous a permis de voir des lieux merveilleux et de faire de belles découvertes culinaires. Mention spéciale à Rodney, qui est venu nous chercher directement à l’aéroport et qui s’est également occupé de notre transfert vers notre hôtel suivant. Il était très gentil. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter si nous revenons à Antigua dans le futur!

Simone arranged the transfer from the airport which was waiting for us on arrival. We met Simone at the property and she was welcoming, helpful and provided us with a wealth of information. In addition Simone arranged a mifi to assist with navigating the island in the new car provided with the property, which allowed us to explore beautiful Antigua. The property is clean,spacious and in a safe location. We walked to the nearby unspoiled quiet beach every morning and to a couple of local restaurants in the evenings - can recommend Dawne’s Soleil Cafe which a short drive away. Our stay was perfect and when we left, Simone provided details for a taxi. We really can’t fault our stay and the hospitality of Simone. We would highly recommend staying at Tradewinds Cottage.

this place felt just like home. place was super clean and had everything that you could need and more. the host was incredibly nice, accommodating, had great recommendations and was flexible. we got more than we expected. this place is minutes away from a beach and great restaurant. we would definitely come back.
