Thamar is the best AirB&B host I've ever had. She was so responsive and answered every question we had about the space and about Antigua (& we had a lot! :) ). The surroundings were stunning and we loved sitting outside on the balcony for breakfast and sunset. The beds were comfortable, the AC in the bedrooms necessary, and the floating bed felt like a dream amongst the flowers. If you're someone who plans to cook (why!), the kitchen supplies are the most minimal, so be prepared for that. You'll see in many comments that the roads are rough and they are. The roads to get to the AirBnB and many on the island are full of potholes and they're very, very narrow. If you're from the US, you're also driving on the opposite side of the road. You need to be comfortable with these things if you stay at Thamar's place. The location is great in the center of the island as you can get to everywhere in equal amount of time. Pour ceux qui seraient tentés de visiter Antigua, je ne peux que recommander la Villa sur la Coline de Thamar et Jamal qui est un endroit spectaculaire et très confortable. Les hôtes sont vraiment de bonnes personnes qui ont à coeur le bien être des gens qui les visitent et nous ont surpris par leur attention et leur gentillesse. Même si la Villa est très reclue, c'est un oasis de tranquilité et de repos. Tout est à distance de 15-20 minutes de voiture pour plages et autres accomodations. Bref nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

Thamar is one of the best hosts ever! She was so welcoming and helpful. The home is so serene, spacious, clean and with a breathtaking view. The next time I visit Antigua, I will be staying here again!

The place is just as described, we had some trouble finding the place and the host was very helpful with directions (I suggest having a 4 wheel drive suv for the roads to the airbnb). The place is spacious and clean, ample kitchen supplies, and having the AC was great for hotter nights. The views and sunset from the balcony were great. We loved going back to English Harbor area and Pigeon Point Beach & Galleon beaches, as well as Cloggys restaurant. The villa is centrally located, everything is a 20-30 minute drive.
