Awesome holiday. Cottage was beautiful clean and comfortable. Location stunning. We took our paddle boards and drove up the to the jetty and had an amazing day out on Windermere lake. Fantastic holiday and just want I needed. Thank you soo much. Heaven and highly recommend.

Just returned from a fantastic stay Duckling cottage. The cottage is modern but homely, very well equipped is in a convenient location for exploring the Lake District and is set on a very nice and quiet estate, with a great walk down to the lakeside in 10 minutes.

Duckling cottage is attractively presented and the bed was super comfortable. The best bits were the proximity to the facilities of Ambleside in a beautifully wooded estate where we saw deer most evenings and the peacefulness of the shared private access to Lake Windermere. The lake is a 10 min walk down a private lane but it is possible to park nearer by using a pass. We hope to visit again.
