Having read the other reviews I wanted to write a review that reflects my experience. The property is freshly renovated to a moderate standard and a small amount of natural dust remains but the property overall is clean and fresh. Rooms are large and comfortable. Facilitates are good with lots of additional perks to make the stay more enjoyable (tea, coffee, sugar, crisps, wine, baguette, beer, toiletries etc). Alan is extremely responsive and was able to accommodate early entry. We were visiting relatives and know the area so purposefully chose the property as an excellent hub for the town, beaches, mountains and other tourist attractions. Off street parking for at least 2 cars. Massive shopping centre close by with a couple of good pubs. Town 10 mins away for restaurants etc. an easy 5* for us, great host and would honestly recommend. We will book again. Thanks Alan!

Seemed to us as though the refurbishment had been rushed and not enough attention paid to getting to right. There was still some thick dust in places and even some tackie paint. The kitchen was great but lacked a lot of essential equipment (I'll DM a list of what we thought was missing), but it shouldn't be too much to ask for a couple of sharp knives, a bottle opener, or enough glassware. Having said that Alan was great at getting back to us with any queries before our stay, and was very helpful.

Nice house and very helpful host. I would recommend this as a base for anyone looking to travel around Waterford.

Alan has a very beautiful and specious house. Our group of six had a great time there. House is well equipped with all amenities. Close to shops. Highly recommended :)
