We came for the second time to Alberto’s cottage and again we loved the stay very much! This place is so much more than a cottage at the beach. It’s more beautiful than what you expect from the fotos. Alberto is a super nice host. We can recommend this stay for a relaxed and quiet time right at the beach. The beach is beautiful and never gets too busy. We have been here during the Easter holidays and it was kind of empty.

The property is an absolute gem, VERY close to a world-class beach. Very private and out of the way … far away from the glitz of Punta del Este but reasonably close to shopping, for essentials. Rustic and funky, in a good way.

Lovely place as described. Very close to the beach. Rustic. We loved the location and amenities. Slight error on our part in that linens and towels were not mentioned as “not included” and we had to make a quick trip to buy them. A handrail on the stairs to the bedroom would have made late night bathroom trips easier. Also a corkscrew added to the utensils would have been great!
