Overall great place. View of the river was nice. I was hoping to have the kids play in the river, but it was moving too quickly and was too deep. The place has enough beds for 6 adults if I remember correctly, but the living spaces would definitely feel a bit cramped with that many adults. Perfect place for a single family with kids or two couples. Ours kids played with the toys they had there and they have an assortment of movies to watch. We'd stay again.

Feels like a true Michigan cottage! We enjoyed this property with our adult children. The riverfront with beach is amazing! We seen several kayaks and tube floaters in the afternoons. We relaxed in the Adirondack chairs for hours! There were a couple of neighbors close by, but didn’t bother us. We cooked on the gas grill as well as the fire. The cottage is cute with almost everything you need. Lots of fans. We were never uncomfortable even with day temps near 90. Great dvd movie selection too! Lightning throughout is dim, especially the kitchen. Beds are comfy and plenty of room for small families. The cottage has a few quirks as does most older homes, but feels cozy and comfortable. Glad we brought bottled water as the sulfur smelling well water is rough. We also used the bottled water for cooking and coffee. Grocery store is about 10 minutes away.
