Great camping location!! So nice to wake up to and see the horses and pond. The hosts were so nice and understanding as traffic held us up a bit. They gave us a lovely welcome package when we arrived. We’ll see them again soon!

My husband and our two boys (8 and 4) went camping at the griffin ranch as a last minute spring break trip. I was a little nervous because I wasn’t sure how everything would go but I was very much pleasantly surprised! Upon arriving Carl greeted us with a warm welcome and after giving us a goodie bag he gave us a tour of the property. The property itself is huge with little trails and lots of wildlife! It was so beautiful! When we got to the campsite he gave us a quick overview and safety tips and even pointed out different plants and medicinal uses that they have. We got set up at our site which was right near a beautiful pond that we got to fish with our kids! There was a fire pit with log seating which was perfect for roasting marshmallows! Our site was semi close to the log cabins and the main house but felt completely private which was great! There is a public and other food places about 15 minutes away but we chose to just go to the small food store which was about a mile up the road and it had everything we needed. Silver springs was also very close by! If you are looking for a hidden oasis look no further than griffin ranch! I can’t wait to come back again!!
We had and incredible time, specially our children (6 and 2 y/o). Hosts are amazing, we got a basket with goodies and kids some bubbles as a surprise. You can walk around while enjoying nature. Also, bring some carrots for the horses, they will go to the gate to get one as soon as they see you. Also Silver Springs is 15 mins away ( beautiful place to visit). You’ll find a Walmart and a Publix 15-20mins away in case you need anything. Anything you need or any question you have, Carl is always around willing to help. Thanks again Carl!!!
Staying at Griffin Ranch was a great experience. I wanted to get away for a little bit and cooking by the fire at night in the cold surrounded by wilderness was just the thing. Initially I booked for camping, but was offered the upgrade to one of the cozy cottages on the property and I'm glad I did, cause it was really cold the entire weekend. When I checked in Mrs. Griffin handed me a wicker basket with breakfast goodies and coffee to brew, a nice touch and most welcome after a long drive. Had a lot of fun and hope to be back soon.

At The Griffin Ranch we have captured the romance and elegance of a by-gone era.. Our ranch is set on 30 acres hosting cabins ,wooded areas , pastures and many of the local wildlife ... We are a working ranch and as such please feel free to bring your jeans and boots . On any given stay you may find us working the horses,making soap, wine , or candles .. in addition we instruct a wilderness survival class at one of the large classrooms located on the property .. we do offer many fine and causal restaurants in the area that are fair in price... If you ask we will be glad to do a family meal and have you as our guests .. Our small cafe turns into one of the finest facilities for enjoying your favorite music and a dance with that special peron in your life..
