Super place to enjoy restful and relaxing time with numerous possibilities for active holidays. The cottage is well equipped with everything necessary and Kristinn 's instructions and tips are very clear. One can enjoy the most beautiful pictures off nature around the cottage and easily reach real pearls like glaciers, lakes, waterfalls, geysers, mountains, ocean with a car. And yes - we managed to see Northern Lights several nights:)

Kristinn's prompt resolution of a mishap on day one showcased excellent service, coupled with clear and accommodating communication. Despite the bumpy gravel road to the cottage, our 7-night stay was enchanting. Mornings brought a magical sunrise over the mountain view, creating a serene atmosphere that continued into quiet and peaceful nights. The surprising proximity to tour sights made our journeys exceptionally convenient. The slight sadness upon checkout was a testament to the thoroughly enjoyable experience we had during our stay.

Kristinn’s cottage met all our expectations. It was very well equipped, comfortable and very private. It is perfectly located to explore many of the beautiful sights that Iceland has to offer. We had a magical vacation, and would definitely stay At Kristinn’s cottage again if we are lucky enough to return to such a magnificent country!

Wonderful place! Great rural views. Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of spices to cook with. In the middle of a lot of places we wanted to see. Host was responsive and checked in to make sure we were doing well. lots of things in the cabin to help kill the time.

Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig in einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Der flexible Check-In per Schlüsselbox funktionierte einwandfrei. Der erste Eindruck beim Eintreten in das Häuschen war sehr gut. Gute Ausstattung. Nicht super sauber, aber okay. Betten müssen selbst bezogen werden. Hierbei waren wir sehr schockiert über den Zustand von Kopfkissen, Bettdecke und vor allem vom Zustand des Matratzenschutz. Dieser war stark verschmutzt mit dunklen großen Flecken. Es wirkte sehr unhygienisch. Auch die bereitgestellten Hand- und Badetücher wirkten nicht frisch gewaschen. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine mit Trocknerfunktion! Super! Für unsere Funktionskleidung fehlte uns leider ein Wäscheständer. In der Küche gibt es eine vielfältige Ausstattung, allerdings wirkten einige Schubladen chaotisch mit vielen angesammelten alten Dingen. Der Hot Tub war leider nicht betriebsbereit, da er zu wenig Wasser enthielt. Bei der Abreise erwarteten uns viele Aufgaben, die bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich waren.
