自我介绍

I grew up in Northern California and met my husband while attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. We traveled the country following his career in construction management and I raised four children. We've lived in Newport Beach CA, Santa Clara CA, Atlanta GA, and Las Vegas NV spending most of the years in Southern California living in the middle of an avocado orchard next to strawberry fields. Our time in the south, in Atlanta, GA definitely influenced my love for home and hospitality. It is true, there's nothing quite like southern hospitality. It was so precious while being so far from home. My love for travel and exploring has influenced my interest in history and architecture. I am a huge fan of historic homes and have visited and lived in historic districts throughout the United States and Europe. My first historic home renovation was in the Historic District of Boulder City, NV where the executives who built Hoover Dam in the 1930s made their home. I restored one of their homes while my kids napped everyday in the 1990s and it now bears a brass plaque as a lovely part of the Registry of Historic Places in Nevada on a gorgeous tree lined street.
