The place was amazing. A peaceful spoton the lake, just what we were looking for. And Mindy was really nice, provided us with recommendations on what to see and do nearby.

the location; A quiet place by the lake, feels like being remote but at 10 minutes from a small village with everything you need. the private beach is a mix of pebbles and sand, and we could get the kayak there by walking 5 minutes, it was a great experience for the kids. Lots of mosquitoes, don't let them get inside! 😉 the host; We felt Mindy wanted our stay to be the best and was very kind and attentive. She came to give us more details on how things work and she wanted to make sure we didn't overlook things she could provide. Lot of attention and care. That was very much appreciated. the cottage; The cottage is exactly as described on the pictures and it is large enough for five. The discomfort from me and my family is as follow. Even if renovated, the cottage feels a bit old with its distinctive smell of humidity. The tap/shower water from the soil has a strong smell even though you can drink it. There is a sceptic field, so that means toilet paper goes in a trash bin.

Mindy's cottage on lake Ontario is a perfect place for a quiet family or group of friends to meet and share the beauty of the lake. Mindy takes her cottage seriously and manages it with care. She has rules in place that make sure it doesn't become a party place. It was a great place for my family and I to enjoy the cottage life and wake up to the sounds of waves hitting the rocks. The lake is really just outside the door and it make this simple, yet well kept, cottage worth it. The cottage has a big, central living space that is comfortable and spacious. It was a nice area for my family to chat, play board games, and watch a late night movie. We really enjoyed the beach that is only a 5 minute walk from the house, and of course Presqu'ile is less than 10 minutes away by car. Great location and Mindy was friendly, an excellent communicator, and helpful. She made clear her expectations and that made us feel confident that we were renting a well maintained property. Thanks, Mindy!
