Juliette was a fantastic host and kindly shared her beautiful home with us as a base for fishing for my husband’s 50th celebration. Perfect location, great local pub and easy to the river. Thank you for having them, Juliette!

Juliette's house was absolutely wonderful. There was plenty of space to accommodate our party of 10 and a dog. The bedrooms were perfect for our needs with huge, comfy beds and a glorious en suite in the main bedroom. Our Dad, who had just turned 80, was super comfortable in the downstairs bedroom with access to a bathroom next door. All 4 children loved the huge cinema room in the eaves - this was a fantastic option for when the Dorset weather was a bit wet! The heart of the home is definitely the kitchen with a fantastic aga which kept the whole house extremely warm. We absolutely loved it. The house itself is set in a fabulous location, surrounded by beautiful gardens and wildlife. There is short stroll to a stream at the rear of the house and a huge playground a couple of minutes walk away. Perfect for our children. Overall, we had the most wonderful stay in Juliette's house and were extremely grateful for her hospitality. Thank you!! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Really lovely house in a nice village. Our children loved the stream and the local park next to the pub. The cinema room was a hit too.

Lovely large, historic house with plenty of space for our extended family of 9 people. Well-appointed, furnished and equipped house which enabled us to have an enjoyable stay, making use of the kitchen and dining room easily for family meals, and relaxing in the lounge and video room in the evenings. Bedrooms were large with comfortable beds and the bathrooms were luxurious and well-equipped. The location meant we were easily able to travel to the Dorset coast as well as local rural areas for days out walking, and find some great pub/restaurants for meals out. Juliette was really helpful and responsive when we had any questions or requests. Thank you for a lovely stay - we would recommend to others looking for a suitable location for a large group/family stay in Dorset.
