Karyn’s place was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia. We were looking for a place by Merimbula and I came across this listing. It is so worth going out of your way for. The surrounding are breathtakingly beautiful, especially at sunrise, and the cottage is so quaint and well done. The animals, the dogs, all of it is so welcoming. Where else do you get fresh made bread and fresh eggs left for you?! And Easter chocolate for the kids? Karyn was also friendly and a great local guide, happy to show us around and nurse their calf. This was one of our most memorable stays ever.

What a wonderful place to stay!! The location is so peaceful - very little noise, just birds and nature. We found the cottage so lovely. It was very clean, very comfortable, with a fabulous veranda overlooking the countryside. The beds were so comfortable. The fresh bread and breakfast provisions were a nice touch. Karyn and family were very welcoming and friendly.

cute little stone cottage full of hisotry with beautiful view of the valley. can hear the river bubbling through and lots of wild life sounds at night. very peaceful environment. the added breakfast with home made bread and speciality jam are added bonus. overall we had a nice little country escape

This was our second stay and probably won’t be our last. A unique property with amazing views and charming character. We arrived to a stocked fridge and freshly baked bread in the bread maker. We really enjoyed our stay.
