Hello Welcome to Boogaba! My husband, Dick, and I bought this property in 1981 and here we still are. Our hearts and souls are here. We have raised 3 children in this magical space, who have now all moved into their own lives, but love to come visit, because this will always be their home. We are all lovers of nature and being outdoors. Boogaba is treasure trove of things to do outside because that’s where we spend most of our time. Dick and I are retired now and spend our days working around the property, traveling to see family and friends and enjoying each other's company. I love to travel, and over the years have done lots of international travel, visiting and exploring various countries around the world. Dick and I spend our winters in Mexico where we have a community of friends from all over the globe. I love hearing about their countries and cultures. Yoga is a way of living for me and has been for over 20 years. I’m a certified yoga instructor with certifications in different practices. Boogaba has always been an open and welcoming space for friends, family, friends of family and everyone in between. Our children and their friends have made many memories here playing on the lake, in the woods and around the house. Gatherings for all types of celebrations and events have happened here over the years. We have a resident dog 'Pug' and a few cats that roam about as well. Feel free to pet any of them as they are very friendly and love the attention. If you venture out onto the nature trail one of the animals may tag along behind you or show you the way, through the twisting wooded trails.
