The place was very clean and relaxing, only thing that we did not like, but not necessarily a problem was that there were spiders inside the Welcome wagon. My kids were afraid to sleep knowing that there were spiders inside. I totally understand that there’s not much the host can do about it, but made me consider not booking again. Also, we realized that there’s not much to do in the ranch that is already included with your stay, other than playing in the playground and watching the animals from far away since there are restricted areas. All other fun activities, like feeding the kangaroos, kangaroos encounter, farm tour, etc are extra and will have to pay individually for each activity. In our case, we have 2 children under 13 years old, so all of us had to participate in the activities as their policy is that younger than 13 must be accompanied by a participating/paying adult and made it quite expensive for us. Just something to consider. Overall the experience was good.
Great getaway weekend with wonderful views, amenities, amazing animal experiences and activities for the kids. Also within close driving distance of amazing parks and hikes.
Donna and her hsband John were great host.We really enjoyed the experience in staying in the Welcome Wagon and the Kangaroo experience. We definitely will stay there in the near future to go horseback riding in their property
Amazing experience to stay in the wagon. Well equipped and right next to the farm animals which our son enjoyed so much! Donna and John were awesome hosts - quick to respond and help with any issues or last minute asks! We would love to visit again!
Donna and John were quick to respond and very helpful . The Welcome Wagon was comfortable for our family of 4. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and saying hi to Cuzco, their friendly llama! We enjoyed all the farm experiences: the farm tour, kangaroo encounter, sloth encounter, horse back riding and bottle feeding baby kangaroos. Our teenagers were so happy to be in the farm and interacting with all animals. It is a very peaceful place. John is very knowledgeable about each animal and cares for them a lot. He shared many of his anecdotes and stories with us. We highly recommend staying at Ocoee Riverside farm! Thank you Donna and John!

Born in California, raised in Florida and South Carolina, spent most of my adulthood in Virginia but Tennessee has my heart! I’ve been married to the same wonderful man for over 27 years and have 10 children through both birth and adoption. Although some of my children did graduate through the public school system I spent 14 years as a homeschool mom and loved it! Now I get to play with 7 grandkids and over 100 animals that call our farm home.
