"On River Time" is located on a quiet, dead-end street. It's a perfect oasis for a family vacation, honeymooners, or a group friend trip. Enjoy serene walks & bike riding on the neighborhood road. Coming in, the road is uphill, but the rest is fairly level. The neighbors keep their properties tidy, and some have beautiful landscaping.
A grocery store is a couple miles away. All you need is food, and the rest is waiting for you at the riverhouse. That includes fishing rods, tubes, kayaks, life vests, and a s'mores kit!
Choose to take a dip or fish in the river. For tubing and kayaking, enter the river at dam #1 (just down the highway) and float to our steps in the backyard!
*You will need a ride back to your car.
The river's water level fluctuates throughout the day. When the water level is low, one can enter the river by using the newly built steps that lead into to the water's edge.
*Be aware of the schedule by Googling the TVA-Dam #1 Release Schedule. It is updated every 24 hours. There is a scannable barcode located in the welcome book for easy and fast access to the release times.

You're in the mountains, so a vehicle is best for getting from point A to B. However, there are many opportunities to ride bicycles and motorcycles. You're in for a treat if you ride in on a motorcycle, the "Dragon" is very near and loved by all that travel it!
