We stayed nearly 5.5 weeks at Maricela’s home and we loved it. It was spacious and had a huge fenced yard which was perfect for our dog. The kitchen had most everything I needed to cook most of our meals, and it was well organized with labeled cabinets and drawers and plenty of room to store everything. The furniture was comfortable enough and the TVs were good quality. Maricela was super flexible with allowing us to add days to our reservation, and let us come earlier in the day and check out late. She was very responsive to any questions we had while we stayed but otherwise left us to enjoy our privacy. When we arrived we noticed a few ants and Maricela got an exterminator there the very next day which quickly solved the problem. I really appreciated her responsiveness. The home well situated. It is a half mile to a trail that goes along the ocean/sand dunes. It is about a mile to the beach itself. Great hiking nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Maricela’s home. We only wish we could have spent more time there. We really enjoyed the two separate living areas, the large primary suite, and the four bedrooms. It was more than enough space for our family. Maricela was a wonderful host, helpful with all of our questions, and always friendly. We hope to stay again!

I spent the month of March here. Although the weather wasn’t terrific, the house and location were great. The kitchen was well-supplied for a person like me who enjoys cooking. Also, my brother was able to prepare a lovely meal on the patio grill. Speaking of the patio, it was, to me, one of the most glorious features of this home. It’s huge! It’s also surrounded by lovely landscaping. It was fun for a Midwesterner to go around the different plantings and to identify them. I’m so envious of a climate where Rosemary can be grown outdoors! My relatives visited while I was there, and there was plenty of comfortable room for everyone. We had lovely game nights at the large dining room table. The location is great to fan out for sightseeing. There are too many opportunities to list, but it’s easy to find exciting places to visit from here, and Maricela has many helpful brochures describing them. I was very satisfied with this property, and would book it again.

This is a nice house in a great area to visit Monterey and Carmel. House is in a quiet neighbor with a large back yard that is fenced. House has everything you need for a nice stay. Owners are pleasant. Perfect location! The only thing that I didn't care for was the couch in the TV room it needs to be replaced. The bed and linens were very comfortable and over all house was clean. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking with a grill out doors. Had desk for working and good wifi. We enjoyed our stay.

great stay, great host, beautiful house. Maricela's house has everything you need and she was very helpful!
