It's our annual tradition to visit Cape Breton and we've stayed at this place a few years in a row. It's always a pleasure. The apartment is very conveniently located and has all the amenities we need. It's our favourite Airbnb.

Wonderful space for a single or couple. Access to amazing trails and sights. Great view of the ocean. Loved the decor, space and it was very clean and cozy. Above a fantastic restaurant.

What an amazing stay at Le Gabriel! From the moment you walk through the door all the charm and comforts of this Cabot trail gem will make you feel like you are right at home. Be prepared for some amazing sunsets from the kitchen window while preparing your dinner. Don’t feel like cooking? Why not enjoy a first class meal at L’ abri restaurant- you won’t be disappointed! We look forward to returning to Le Gabriel during our next visit to the Cabot trail!

We had a nice stay at Basil's place. The view from the picture window in the kitchen was lovely and his place was very cozy. We appreciated the extra kitchen basics provided. The town of Cheticamp was a good base for the Highlands Park. We were there at the end of September so things were pretty quiet but we had an amazing dinner at Labri just below the apartment and purchased delicious bread from their sister bakery just down the street. We enjoyed live entertainment(Fiddler) at The Doryman after dinner which had a fun local vibe and basically across the road, very short walk. La Portage is super close as well where we had a great round of golf.

Wir liebten es! Mein Mann wörtlich „mit so einem tollen Ausblick habe ich noch nie gekocht“. Alles ist sehr hübsch und liebevoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts, bzw wir haben nichts vermisst! Es waren sogar Spül- und Waschmaschinen Tabs vorhanden. Lediglich in die „Kaffemaschine“ mussten wir uns eingrooven. Einmal Essen im l‘abri ist sehr empfehlenswert! Wir liebten die Brokolinis mit Ayoli-Sesam-Chiliflocken-Topping <3 Uns störte es nicht, aber die Geräuschkulisse (brummen) des Kühlraums unter dem Schlafzimmer und generelle (nicht unangenehme!) Geräuschkulisse sollte man kurz erwähnen, für Menschen, die absolute Stille benötigen/erwarten. Ich bin eigentlich auch geräuschsensibel, habe es aber nach kürzester Zeit gar nicht mehr wirklich und schon gar nicht als störend wahrgenommen.
