It really is a very special place. Pasang was so helpful and kind, communicating days beforehand and making sure we got there okay. he is a wonderful and kind man, and Petunia is a wonderful and kind woman. The place is so beautiful and peaceful. The views are outstanding, and the temple is gorgeous. The cabin is very homely. Pasang even gave me an electric blanket to use. The beds are comfortable, and I liked the little two ring gas hob to make tea and noodles. A tiny little place is beside it which offers lunch and dinner of delicious organic food for cheap. I would have happily spent a month there, and spent the week after I left thinking about returning. I highly recommend it to anyone looking either to do some personal Buddhist / meditation practice, or simply to dwell in the vast peace and beauty that the place and its views provides. It's the best value place that I've ever stayed in in my life. I feel very grateful to have stayed there.

This place is an absolute beauty....Come here if you want to some peace and quiet....It's so calming and peaceful to be here.....The cottage is an absolute beauty and shows how we can be sustainable in our practices if only we try.....The Lhama is an excellent host, always responsive and ready to help....We had a wonderful, quiet and peaceful stay....

This is such a beautiful space... there is a lovely view of the mountains when they choose to show themselves. The place is very private and exactly what I was looking for. You should not stay here if you have problems with mobility as you have to do some steps but once there you can sit and watch the mountains before you. There are some basics provided and you can take food and cook for yourself but there are also places that do catering and have some grocery items very close. Twice I went into Rimbick for food and for the market but I preferred to stay closer to the cabin. Pasang is a wonderful cook and most days I had one meal from him. He also took me on two treks which were wonderful. I plan to return for a longer trek. Pasang was always helpful, always eager to help if I had any problem. I can't wait to return to this beautiful place again.

I had a great stay there. Pasang is very helpful. The place is quite remote. It takes an hour from Rimbik to walk up to the cabin. But I enjoyed this inconvenience.
