There are 3 bedrooms in the main floor and a quaint but open area for entertaining. There’s a full kitchen with a pantry and all new utensils. There’s a full bath with tub and shower combo. Upstairs there are 2 bunk beds for kids in one room and a queen bed In the other. There’s also a small half bath. There’s a pack n play and baby gate available for use if needed. The basement has a full bath with standup shower. There are TVs in basement and first floor with cable and internet. There is a large set of stairs down to the property and several sets of stairs to get down to the lake (see photos). We are 3 family with 7 kids for spring break. Our kids had a lot of fun and a ton for entertaining from Steve’s place. House is a ton of bedroom. Had all amenities we need. A house is clean. Adults hanging out together while the kids play a lot of broad games, Karaoke, ping pong table on basement. Enough bath room with out flighting who want to use it first kitchen has all everything we need for cooking and storage the food. We love to have coffee and tea from the pantry and enjoyed the view with the sunset from the living room on the lake view. It is so beautiful. Steve was very good communication and make sure we were doing good and get what we need. Steve’s place is a perfect for family with kids to enjoy. We definitely go back again.

The neighborhood is a quiet residential area in McHenry County with other rentals around the lake area. Quiet hours are from 10p to 10a. Seasonal activities for warmer weather include boating on Wonder Lake, Lake Geneva & Chain-o-Lakes, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, annual rummage sales, strawberry picking, farmers markets, craft fairs and festivals. Walk up to main beach at 7p on Friday nights and watch our National Show Ski Champion ski team perform. Cooler weather actives include local farm events with apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, corn mazes, snow mobile trails, ice skating, fishing & hockey. We're a 20-minute country drive from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin shops, restaurants and events. Wilmont Mountain for skiing, snowboarding & sledding. Inquire about our pontoon boat, kayaks, paddle boards, and canoe rental available on the lake during boating season. Look up these and other local things to do; Fall Diddley Craft Show in Boone County, Woodstock Square and Opera House, Stade's Farm & Market, All Seasons Orchard, Moraine Hills State Park, McHenry Outdoor Theatre, Twisted Limits Escape Rooms, Volo Car Museum, North Wall Rock Climbing Gym, The Vixen Theatre, Richardson Adventure Farm, Illinois Railway Museum, Norge Ski Club, The Hollows Conservation Area, Spartan Axe Throwing, Woodstock Square, Deicke Discovery Zone. a few other nearby towns are Woodstock, McHenry, Crystal Lake, Cary & Algonquin.
