The place was overall as expected but there were a few issues with our stay. The biggest problem was that the water was shut off in the morning (we stayed one night). There were also a lot of ladybugs (both dead and alive) in the cabin. The final issue we had was that the back door to the porch did not lock, which made us feel slightly unsafe. However, Misty was very friendly and responsive, and the cabin matched the pictures.

The cabin was nicely built with reasonable furnishing. This was a nice alternative to a hotel stay. Would stay again.

So happy we decided to stop here on our cross country drive home. We hope to be back when skies are clear and the weather is warmer to really enjoy the beautiful surroundings!

We needed a midpoint to stay while traveling back home and this cabin was a comfortable place to lay our heads. The cabin was warm and clean with cute modern decor. While it mentions in the listing, it’s worth noting, there isn’t any WiFi and cell service is very poor, so if you are looking for a place off the grid this is the place for you. With it being off the grid, we recommend bringing food with you that can be eaten cold (good sized fridge) or heated in the microwave. Also, bring along some board games or a good book to make your stay more enjoyable.
